2021 Double Eagle Very Rare Bourbon - '21 Edition
A Timeless Masterpiece of Bourbon Craftsmanship
Introducing the 2021 Double Eagle Very Rare Bourbon, a truly exceptional release that elevates the classic Eagle Rare bourbon to new levels. Matured twice as long as the standard 10-year-old Eagle Rare, this bourbon offers an enhanced complexity and refinement. Beyond its age, the presentation is unmatched: housed in a crystal decanter featuring two beautifully sculpted glass eagles—one inside the bottle and one serving as the stopper—this bourbon is as much a work of art as it is a spirit.
Extended Aging
This unique release is aged twice as long as the standard Eagle Rare 10-year-old bourbon, allowing the whiskey to develop a deeper, more sophisticated flavor profile.
Elegant Presentation
The bourbon is presented in an exquisitely crafted crystal decanter, featuring two intricately sculpted eagles—one inside the bottle and one as the stopper—making it a visually stunning piece.
Rich Flavor Profile
Indulge in a flavor profile marked by caramel, vanilla, oak, and dark fruit, offering a balanced and smooth finish that lingers long after the last sip.
Collector’s Item
With its limited-edition status and luxurious presentation, this bourbon is a prized collector’s item, perfect for those who appreciate fine craftsmanship and rare releases.
The 2021 Double Eagle Very Rare Bourbon is not only a sophisticated spirit but also a true treasure for any whiskey enthusiast.
Even after two decades of aging in an oak barrel, this bourbon whiskey is surprisingly balanced. Hints of vanilla, toasted oak and caramel lead to a gracefully-aged oaky flavor. Like nothing you’ve ever tasted.

Dedicated To Consistent Quality
Preserving The Original Secret Recipe
Eagle Rare uses the Buffalo Trace Mashbill #1 meaning it consists of under 10% rye, focusing more on using corn and malted barley throughout. However the exact proportions of the mash have been a well guarded secret for decades.
The one thing that isn’t a secret is the commitment to ensuring every barrel of Eagle Rare meets the high standards of quality and flavor. Every barrel gets a heavy char to ensure the perfect hint of smoke and vanilla into the bourbon. A process that has taken years to master to ensure a precise perfect flavor in every sip.

The History
Crafted For Luxury
During the 1970’s the whisky industry had taken a hit and wasn’t as in demand as it once was. This factor did not deter master distiller Charles L. Beam, the grand nephew of Jim Beam. In fact during this time he went out to create a luxury bourbon that would compete with other high-end spirits.
Introduced in 1975 by the Seagram Company, Eagle Rare quickly gained acclaim for its premium quality and unique characteristics. Its debut instantly impacted the evolution of how bourbon distilleries approached their product. The robust flavor and high quality was unusual in the bourbon industry at the time and really shaped the mold for what affordable and premium bourbon can be.
