Lunazul Reposado is aged in bourbon barrels for 12 to 18 months. Reposado tequilas are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two months, but typically mature for two to twelve months. This aging process gives reposado tequilas their characteristic flavor profile, color, and aroma.
