Hakutsuru Excellent Junmai is a sake brewed in Japan using a 250-year-old traditional technique. The sake is full-bodied, off-dry, and has a dry finish. It has a mellow flavor and rich mouthfeel.
Hakutsuru is the largest sake producer in Japan. The company was founded in 1743 by Jihei Kano, a lumber dealer. The name Hakutsuru means "white crane".
Hakutsuru benefits from excellent water sources, including spring water from Mt. Rokko and Miyamizu.
