Appearance:
Pale straw yellow with hints of green, resembling the bright Chilean sunlight that kissed the vineyards where the grapes were grown.

Nose:
Inviting aromas of zesty citrus fruits dominate the bouquet, with prominent notes of grapefruit and lime zest. Subtle hints of freshly cut grass and tropical fruits, such as passionfruit and guava, add complexity and depth to the aromatic profile.

Root:1 is especially unique in that the geography of Chile makes it one of the few regions in the world unaffected by phylloxera. Root:1 grapes are grown from ungrafted rootstock, producing wines with intense fruit, flavor and authentic varietal character.
Cabernet sauvignon is a full-bodied, acidic wine made from the international red wine grape variety of the same name. It has strong tannins that mellow with age. Cabernet sauvignon wines are high in alcohol, usually in the 13–14 percent range.Aromas of ripe berries, cassis, plum and dark cherry, followed by light toast notes. Juicy red berry and mocha flavors with a full-bodied structure, balanced by smooth tannins and a lengthy finish. Freshness with notes of fruit on the back. Pairs well with grilled steak or a hearty meat-sauce pasta.

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were created because of an accidental cross breeding of a Cabernet Franc grape and a Sauvignon Blanc grape in 17th century France. The resulting in a small red grape is extremely resistant to the elements due to its thicker more durable skin.
