Rob Dietrich is the Master Distiller & Blender for BLACKENED Whiskey and is responsible for every aspect of production. Rob ensures the uncompromising quality of BLACKENED Whiskey and is committed to maintaining and elevating the recipe of BLACKENED's original expression.
The recipe for our original expression was envisioned by our Founding Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and released in 2018.
Remastering whiskey means layering flavors during blending and enhancing the base through cask-finishing, while using our BLACK NOISE sonic enhancement to extract more flavor, resulting in a one-of-a-kind Blackened taste.
Blackened is a blend of straight bourbons and rye whiskeys drawn from throughout North America. The company brought in John Biello as CEO, an industry veteran with 18 years at Seagram and stints with startup spirit brands like Milagro Tequila, Tequila Avion and luxury vodka Double Cross.
