Humboldt Organic Vodka is distilled from organic American sugarcane for an incredibly clean palate that makes this spirit smooth enough to sip, and perfect for mixing. Vodka may be distilled from any starch- or sugar-rich plant matter; most vodka today is produced from grains such as sorghum, corn, rye or wheat. Among grain vodkas, rye and wheat vodkas are generally considered superior.

The general consensus seems to be that two or three distillations is ideal.
