Patrón Extra Añejo 10 Años is the oldest tequila made at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. The finest 100% Weber Blue Agave is harvested, baked, distilled and then aged for an impressive 10 years in American oak barrels and hybrid American/French Limousin oak barrels.
Patrón Tequila is handcrafted in Jalisco, Mexico at Hacienda Patrón. To qualify as tequila, a spirit must be made in Jalisco, Mexico and in very limited surrounding areas.
Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant. The drink is typically composed of 40% – 60% alcohol by volume (80 – 120 proof) and is made in Mexico. Tequila is made from the heart of the agave plant, which is called the piña.Patrón is made from just three ingredients: agave, water and yeast – all three greatly influencing the flavour of the final tequila but Patrón say that yeast contributes as much as 70% of the tequila's flavour, hence they are in full control of their yeast.
At Patrón, our goal is to achieve perfection in every drop—by using this unique, four-time distillation process, we unlocked and opened up the natural sweetness and smoothness from the agave to deliver an incredibly sweet and light tasting, smooth tequila.
