Dulce Vida produces our tequila in the village of San Ignacio Cerro Gordo at Campanario (NOM 1443) utilizing a Maquila approach to our operations, whereby our team is actively engaged in every detail, from harvest through distillation & aging.
Dulce Vida is based in Austin, TX, and is master distilled in San Ignacio Cerro Gordo, Jalisco.
Añejo refers to tequila that has been aged in oak barrels anywhere from one to three years. PATRÓN AÑEJO is carefully distilled and then aged for over 12 months in a combination of French oak, Hungarian oak and used American whiskey barrels to create our ultra-premium tequila.

80 PROOF. Bottled immediately after distillation, Dulce Vida is as vibrant as a blanco can get. Dulce Vida Blanco has a pleasant citrus aroma that is well balanced with a hint of spice and a sweet agave finish. It's the perfect complement to a margarita or Mexican Mule.
Like other types of tequila, añejos are produced in Mexico's highland and lowland regions. The richer soil of the highlands can make this region's agaves sweeter, making for fruitier tequilas. And lowland tequilas taste earthier because of the area's water.
Of the nearly 140 tequila distilleries in Mexico, hers is the only one that's led and operated solely by women. Melly Barajas walks through a field of blue agave plants in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico.The first distillation process takes place in steel distillation columns, during which water is removed and alcohol is concentrated from fermented agave juice. The second distillation takes place in stills to obtain tequila with a range of 55-65% alcohol, depending on the brand.
