Distillery Information

Tequila Mandala made from 100% Blue Weber Agave in Arenal, Jalisco. All our aged varieties are aged in French oak barrels.
Humberto Ibarra grew up with a great appreciation for the tradition behind Mexico's favorite spirit. Now, along with Arturo Lomeli Ibarra and Jose Joel Garcia Barreto, he's bringing a unique, premium sipping experience to the US.
The agave is stripped to reveal the heart of the plant, the 'piña', which is then hand-chopped, baked and crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone Tahona wheel and a roller mill. The resulting mixture is fermented for three days, distilled and, in some cases, aged in handmade barrels.
Like other types of tequila, añejos are produced in Mexico's highland and lowland regions. The richer soil of the highlands can make this region's agaves sweeter, making for fruitier tequilas. And lowland tequilas taste earthier because of the area's water.
Tequila Mandala Extra Anejo - Elegant with a great body, aged 7 years in French white oak barrels. Dedicated to those that love the extraordinary and special.
Tequila is a distilled spirit made from the Weber blue agave plant that grows in Mexico. The blue agave plant has huge spikes that come up from a central core that is called the pina. After the leaves are removed, the pina is the part of the plant that is used to make tequila.
