Russian Standard is made at a new $60 million distillery on the outskirts of Saint Petersburg from Russian wheat. Russky Standart (Pyccкий Cтaидapт) is distilled to the Tsar's premium quality standard of 1894, as set by Professor Dmitri Mendeleev, and the bottle references that date, and carries Mendeleev's signature.
