Handy Sazerac Rye Whiskey 2023 (124.9 Proof) is produced by Buffalo Trace Distillery, a renowned distillery with a rich history in crafting some of the world's finest whiskies.
The limited release is an 18 year old released annually as part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. The ongoing release is aged for at least 4 years, and at one time was said to be approximately 6 years old. Aromas of orange zest, clove, and raisin greet the senses, with hints of rye spice and anise underneath.Sazerac's home away from home is found in the beautiful hills of Kentucky at the famous Buffalo Trace Distillery in Franklin County and Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown. When you visit the state, it's easy to see why Kentucky became the birthplace of bourbon.
The bulk of Sazerac Rye Whiskey is currently produced and bottled at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky, and now a small portion of Sazerac Rye Whiskey produced and aged at Buffalo Trace Distillery will be bottled at the Sazerac House.
