Bols is the world's oldest distilled spirit brand, based in Amsterdam since 1575. In 1575, the Bols family started distilling liqueurs in Amsterdam.
Bols produce the distillates that form the heart of their liqueurs in a small distillery in the heart of Amsterdam, at 31 Pijlsteeg, close to Dam Square. This distillery dates back to 1679 when Jan Bierman established his spirits and liqueur distillery there.
An incomparable grain spirit from Holland, made from long-fermented corn, rye and wheat. Triple-distilled to create malt spirit, the heart of genever. Bols Original Genever blends our malt spirit with 22 botanicals ranging from juniper berries, hops and coriander, to cloves and ginger.
