Distillery Information

Delicate herbs give way to green banana and grapefruit while a nutty note of marzipan reflects the wood contribution of specially selected casks. In true Pot Still style, an initial taste delivers smooth mouth-coating barley followed by an eruption of green apple and citrus notes.
In 1886 they were the first distillery in Dublin to bottle their own whiskey. This is when the gold label Powers whiskey was born to signify that it was bottled in the distillery. By 1889 they had launched their 71ml bottle, a world first, which was quickly christened 'Baby Powers'.
Powers is a brand of Irish whiskey produced by the Irish Distillers subsidiary of Pernod Ricard.
Bushmills is home to the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery with official records dating back to 1608, when the area was granted its license to distil.
