Made with 100% certified organic botanicals, featuring notes of angelica, coriander, juniper, and a blend of sweet American citrus fruits, Bluecoat is the original American Dry gin. Always bright and clear and with a subtle citrus finish.
Distilleries like Greenhook Ginsmiths in Brooklyn, St. George Spirits in California, and Leopold Bros in Colorado are just a few examples of producers that have garnered international acclaim for their unique takes on gin.
The first craft distillery in Pennsylvania since prohibition, Philadelphia Distilling, home of Bluecoat Gin, was founded in 2005 to create compelling spirits geared for the American palette.
The Distilled Dry Gin LN Mattei is obtained by unique distillation of a 24-hour maceration of plants composing our recipe including juniper berries, zests of Cedars and Corsican Lemons, bay leaves, etc…
It all starts with our precise blend of botanicals – cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two kinds of orange peel. The botanicals are suspended in a neutral grain spirit for 18 hours in macerating tanks.
