Distillery Information

Made at Destiladora del Valle de Tequila- NOM 1438 in the lowlands (El Valle) region of Tequila, Jalisco. The distillery is known as “Casa Maestri” and is one of the most productive. Pedro Quintanilla, the founder of Los Azulejos, is a Tequila connoisseur.
Los Azulejos Tequila Reposado is produced in Jalisco, the heart of tequila country. This is the one year aged expression of this particular line. The others being Blanco, and Anejo and Extra Anejo. Distilled in stainless steel stills, a bright taste Lowland tequila.
Pedro passed away in 2018, but his legacy lives on through the brand that he created. Today, Azulejos is managed by Pedro's wife Linda and their son Chris, as well as long time business parter Alfredo, who have kept his vision alive.
It is made from the blue agave plant, which is grown in the Jalisco region of Mexico. A favorite among lagosians, the brand offers a range of tequilas, including Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. With its popularity, Azul tequila has become a target for counterfeiters.Tequila is a distilled spirit made from the Weber blue agave plant that grows in Mexico. The blue agave plant has huge spikes that come up from a central core that is called the pina. After the leaves are removed, the pina is the part of the plant that is used to make tequila.
