Distillery Information

Fermentation with our patented yeast imparts our distinctive profile to the elixir. Its notes are then molded through a double distillation in copper stills. This dedicated effort results in an exquisite tequila.
It is made from the blue agave plant, which is grown in the Jalisco region of Mexico. A favorite among lagosians, the brand offers a range of tequilas, including Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. With its popularity, Azul tequila has become a target for counterfeiters.Clase Azul Tequila Reposado is a symbol of Mexican tradition and culture. Made with slow-cooked 100% Blue Weber Agave, our ultra-premium reposado tequila is unique and incomparable. Its decanter is our most recognized icon with its distinctive "feathered" design, painted by hand in cobalt blue.
For many years, tequila connoisseurs have praised Clase Azul Reposado for its superior taste and stunning handmade decanter.
The main reason why this collection is so expensive is the amount of time and effort that was needed to create it. In fact, Clase Azul commissioned 15 Mexican artists to create a different design for each bottle. The first distillation process takes place in steel distillation columns, during which water is removed and alcohol is concentrated from fermented agave juice. The second distillation takes place in stills to obtain tequila with a range of 55-65% alcohol, depending on the brand.
