Lunazul Blanco Tequila is distilled and bottled at the Tierra de Agaves Distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. The distillery was founded in 2002 by Francisco Beckmann, a former co-owner of Jose Cuervo.
Lunazul Tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave that is hand-harvested and aged in bourbon barrels for 12 to 18 months. Each batch is distilled twice in custom cognac stills. The agave matures for 7–9 years in the field before being transported to the distillery.
Lunazul Blanco Tequila is gluten-free and has a semi-viscous, peppery palate with ripe fruit tones and a hint of vanilla. It has a long-lasting citrusy, peppery, and herbaceous finish.
