Distillery Information

Tequila is a distilled spirit made from the Weber blue agave plant that grows in Mexico. The blue agave plant has huge spikes that come up from a central core that is called the pina. After the leaves are removed, the pina is the part of the plant that is used to make tequila.
Pure and authentic, sourced from the Highlands of Jalisco, always additive free.
The first distillation process takes place in steel distillation columns, during which water is removed and alcohol is concentrated from fermented agave juice. The second distillation takes place in stills to obtain tequila with a range of 55-65% alcohol, depending on the brand.
Ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol, is a colorless, strong-smelling, volatile, and flammable chemical compound. It is obtained by distilling fermented products of sugary or starchy mixes such as grapes, molasses, beet, or potatoes. Beverages such as wine, beer, and tequila -among others- contain Ethanol.
First of all, in the tequila industries, a minimum of 2 distillations must be carried out so can actually call the product tequila. In the first distillation, product the is obtained is known as ordinary, which is why it is very important to have a double distillation to have the final product called tequila.
Tequila is made from the agave, pronounced 'Uh-Gah-Vee'. A native plant to Mexico, its name originates from a Greek word meaning 'noble' or 'admirable'. In Mexico the plant is also sometimes referred to as 'Maguey' (pronounced 'mag-gay').
