Distillery Information

Los Azulejos Tequila Reposado is produced in Jalisco, the heart of tequila country. This is the one year aged expression of this particular line. The others being Blanco, and Anejo and Extra Anejo. Distilled in stainless steel stills, a bright taste Lowland tequila.
Pedro passed away in 2018, but his legacy lives on through the brand that he created. Today, Azulejos is managed by Pedro's wife Linda and their son Chris, as well as long time business parter Alfredo, who have kept his vision alive.
Like other types of tequila, añejos are produced in Mexico's highland and lowland regions. The richer soil of the highlands can make this region's agaves sweeter, making for fruitier tequilas. And lowland tequilas taste earthier because of the area's water.
Aged over two years in fine Bourbon oak barrels, this masterpiece is the proud winner of a Double-Gold Medal from SFWS. Its briny opening aroma; more time in the glass allows a peppery almost gum-like, biscuits perfume to develop. Sweet palate entry shows roasted peppers and pineapple tastes.
It is made from the blue agave plant, which is grown in the Jalisco region of Mexico. A favorite among lagosians, the brand offers a range of tequilas, including Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. With its popularity, Azul tequila has become a target for counterfeiters.Clase Azul's range of tequilas and mezcals are made from quality agave plants found throughout Mexico. Made with Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco and rare agave species found in the mountains, each of Clase's spirits is meant to showcase the characteristics of the country.
