Embark on a journey of refined taste and heritage with Herencia Mexicana Reposado Tequila. Crafted in the heart of Jalisco, Mexico, this exquisite reposado tequila is a testament to the time-honored traditions of tequila-making.

Beginning with carefully selected mature blue Weber agave plants, harvested at peak ripeness, Herencia Mexicana Reposado undergoes a meticulous process to extract the sweet agave nectar. The pinas are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, allowing the flavors to develop fully before fermentation.

After fermentation, the agave juice is double-distilled to achieve clarity and purity, retaining the essence of the agave plant. It is then aged in oak barrels for a minimum of six months, imparting a golden hue and adding depth and complexity to the tequila's flavor profile.

Upon pouring, Herencia Mexicana Reposado Tequila unveils a golden amber color, enticing the senses with its warm and inviting appearance. Delicate aromas of caramel, vanilla, and oak waft from the glass, promising a sensory journey like no other.

On the palate, Herencia Mexicana Reposado delights with its smooth and velvety texture, delivering flavors of toasted oak, caramelized agave, and a hint of spice. The aging process adds layers of complexity, resulting in a balanced and harmonious tequila experience.

Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the foundation for classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned or Tequila Sunrise, Herencia Mexicana Reposado Tequila is sure to impress even the most discerning palates. Raise a glass and toast to tradition with Herencia Mexicana Reposado Tequila, a true expression of Mexico's tequila heritage.

Made like it should be. PATRÓN Añejo is handcrafted from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave and is carefully distilled in small batches at Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico.
Tequila añejo is aged 1 to 4 years in oak barrels (añejo means “old” or “vintage” in Spanish). It tastes richer, with notes of vanilla and cinnamon. Añejo shines when drunk straight and on the rocks, so you can taste the nuances of its character. Tequila aged over 3 years may be labeled Extra añejo. The time that the tequila spends aging in barrel is what determines whether it will be a blanco, which is unaged, a reposado, which is aged up to a year, or an añejo, which has been aged from 1-2years.
The distilling and aging process is the same, but while Añejo is left in an oak barrel between 12 and 35 months, Extra Añejo sits to age for a minimum of 36 months before being bottled, with some brands going up to 5 years of aging. But by definition, añejo is a blue agave gold tequila that has been aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak barrels, creating a gorgeous amber hue. The aging process creates a tequila that is bolder and richer than Reposado tequila or Blanco tequila.
Because of this, añejo and extra añejo tequilas are generally more expensive than the lesser aged reposado or blanco tequilas but this higher price is justified when you consider that only the best spirits are selected for ageing.
