Alley 6 Harvest Gin is distilled at the Alley 6 Craft Distillery in Healdsburg, Sonoma County, California. The distillery uses two 250-gallon copper pot stills for the entire production process, from milling the grain to bottling.
The gin is first distilled in copper alembic pot stills to preserve the aroma of white wines. It is then distilled again in a column still to infuse botanicals. The base spirit is finished with a combination of botanicals, including California bay laurel, wild fennel, and juniper berries.
Gin is an alcoholic beverage made from a grain base, such as barley or wheat. Botanicals and water are added to achieve the desired flavors. To be called gin, the spirit must have a predominant juniper berry flavor.
