Crafted from 100% blue weber agave harvested from the fertile soils of the Jalisco Highlands, G4 Premium Anejo Tequila begins its journey with the selection of the finest agave plants. Each piña is slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens, allowing the sugars to caramelize and imparting a depth of flavor unique to G4.

After roasting, the agave is crushed and fermented with natural yeast before undergoing a double distillation process in copper pot stills. This careful distillation preserves the purity of the agave, resulting in a tequila of unparalleled smoothness and character.

G4 Premium Anejo Tequila is then aged for a minimum of 18 months in American white oak barrels, allowing it to develop a rich complexity of flavors. During this maturation process, the tequila takes on notes of caramel, vanilla, and oak, with hints of spice and dried fruit adding layers of depth.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: Rich amber hue, reminiscent of polished mahogany, with golden highlights that catch the light.

Nose: Aromas of caramelized agave and toasted oak greet the senses, followed by notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. There's a subtle hint of dried fruit, adding complexity and depth.

Distillery Information

Created by Felipe Camarena, G4 (four generations) is a tequila distilled at El Pandillo Distillery in Jesús María, Jalisco (Nom #1579). The agaves are cooked in one of two stone ovens on site for 22 hours and crushed in a handmade metal tahona nicknamed "Felipestein" (Frankestein).Aging Process: G4 55 Extra Anejo Tequila is aged for an impressive 55 months (over 4 years) in American oak barrels. This extended aging process allows the tequila to mature and develop its distinctive character, making it one of the most exquisite extra anejo tequilas available.
The distilling and aging process is the same, but while Añejo is left in an oak barrel between 12 and 35 months, Extra Añejo sits to age for a minimum of 36 months before being bottled, with some brands going up to 5 years of aging.The name G4 stands for Four Generations of tequila mastery.
